Its been a while !

Assalamualaikum All,

Hope everyone is doing great. Its been awhile i updated here( multiply acct), and also put up anything new.

You can say, i got sucked into winter blues or rather laziness. I was not really feeling blue, but i was rather engrossed with other projects of my own. For one i love baking and cooking, and the kitchen is the best place to be in when the temperatures are as low as -30 Deg C on some days. The warmth from the stove/oven keeps you all nice and toasty.

And secondly i have been working on my new sewing machine. Took sewing lessons before i left Singapore. And the only way to remember what you learn is to keep practicing.

Anyway, This week the weather has been really good mashallah. Looks like spring is on its way. Last year, we only enjoyed a short Spring as it was constantly snowing. But this time round, its no longer snowing and its very much sunny and warmer. Alhamdullilah

Been using the beautiful weather to my greatest advantage. Its time for enjoying the weather with a cuppa tea on the balcony .

And The weekend that went by, we went to explore this huge forest preserve. It was gorgeous mashallah.

And i have been going out on long walks on my own when the mister is at work.

Need to burn off the winter weightla...haha !!!

Anyway, heard from mum that its been chilly in Singapore too. My mum cracks me up la. Anyway i shall end this with a cute convo i had with my dearest mum.

mum : i have been searching everywhere , at geylang serai etc for hijab pins. And i could not find them. I always see ladies wearing them.And to think my own daughter is selling them ( she discovered this when one of the sisters came to pick up her order, i usually pack them up so hence she does not know whats inside)

Me : *smacking my own forhead in mind* LOL

On another note, been occupied with paperwork. So i can continue living here with hubby! Things are looking up. Alhamdullilah ! Other than that, been so unmotivated to make new things =(
